VC++ Express GTK Quick Start Guide

Current version : GTK VS 1.1 Release Candidate 1M

Previous versions:
                               GTK VS 1.1 RC1L

                              GTK VS 1.1 RC1K

The VS8 series are compiled and linked using VC++ 2005
significant compiler flags used are /MD /MDd respectively for Release and Debug versions
The VS9 series are compiled using VC++ 2008 build tools

Excutables and library filename ends with -<compiler><_debug>
where compiler identifies the compiler used
vs8 stands for Microsoft Compiler and Linker 14.00
vs9 stands for Microsoft Compiler and Linker 15.00
other compilers will  be added soon.

_debug is optionnal and identify debug builds

The Development package contains header files , libs and pdb files for both debug
and release versions
